First time coming here and it won't be the last. Small place but the food was amazing. The pan dulce was fresh, like fresh fresh. Best champurrado I've ever had. The drink was smooth with a great consistency. I also order one of each of the tamales. It was hard to choice my favorite. 1) pollo, 2) verde 3) rojo 4) rajas SO GOOD!! Service was fast once I got through the line. Planning my next trip.
Their bread and their bolios are so good and are only handled by the staff. Some bakery's make their pieces of bread to big and dry, not this bakery. Bread is fresh and moist and great flavor.
Best bolillo i have ever ate. I placed an order for my sons baby shower. 150 bolillos, they said they would have them by 12pm and they were dead on the spot with the time and the order. Warm and ready to go everyone at the party enjoyed them with the birria. Cant go wrong with them
Best Mexican Panaderia in town!! I love Mexican food the burritos are prepped right in front of you. The Staff is really nice. The tamales are the reason u go to this place.. it's a hit and miss with the raja ones cuz they are so popular but any other tamal is good at this location. I've been here like 5 times and they don't fail to amaze me each time. Only thing is that They sometimes don't have what I really go there for and it's their tamales de rajas!!
I ordered a "Rosca" and it was delicious!! we tried buying one last year but they where sold out so decided to not take a chance and placed an order. I picked it up on Sunday and my family really loved it. It was definitely fresh and bread was soft and the best part was the pineapple filling. Thank you guys we will definitely order one for next year again.
It's very delicious bread and it gets packed even on a Saturday at 730am. Will keep going when I need some pan dulce
Nothing beats a small concha with a freshly brewed coffee or hot chocolate. When I need a "pan dulce fix" I make sure it's from this bakery. Their bread is light and fresh. My favorite breads are the conchas and mexican cookies. This bread reminds me of the bread I eat when I go to mexico. It has a distinct cinnamon flavor.
I am a pan dulce feign. Whenever there is a bag of bread in my kitchen i find it difficult to eat just one piece. Its my weakness. Nothing compares to the pan dulce from Mexico. It may be that the ingredients are fresher and that the flour is not bleached. Whatever the reason, eating pan dulce in your grandmas kitchen in Mexico is bliss. There are a ton of Mexicans in Oxnard who own panaderias. They probably owned panaderias where they came from and are experienced in it, but I have never eaten bread that compares to the bread from there. Panaderia Azteca is the closest thing to that. Their bread is Delicious! It has an added cinnamon taste that is amazing. The texture is fluffy and not incredibly filling. And the conchas even hold up when you bite them. Go here, it is good.
